Practical Advice
To maximise the lifespan of this bag, we recommend distributing weight evenly across its base. While the jute is sturdy, keeping the bag away from sharp edges will prevent snags in the natural weave, ensuring your custom branding remains the focal point.
Caring for your product
Proper care is essential to maintain the structural integrity of the natural jute and the internal PU laminate, ensuring your bag continues to perform well over time.
You should avoid machine washing this product. Submerging the bag in water and subjecting it to a wash cycle can cause the natural jute fibres to shrink and may lead to the internal lamination peeling away from the fabric, effectively destroying the bag's structure. For cleaning, we recommend gently wiping with a damp cloth.
Bleaching should be strictly avoided. Chlorine-based cleaners will aggressively break down the natural plant fibres of the jute and will almost certainly cause permanent discolouration to your custom embroidery or print.
Tumble drying is not suitable for this item. High heat can cause the internal PU coating to become brittle and crack, or in some cases, melt, which will compromise the bag's moisture resistance and rigidity. Always allow the bag to air dry naturally in a shaded area.
Ironing is not recommended, particularly on the internal side. High temperatures can damage the lamination and may cause the printed elements of your branding to smudge or lift from the surface.
