Product Overview

The AWDis Just Hoods Zoodie (JH050) is a refined take on the classic hooded sweatshirt, blending everyday comfort with the functional requirements of modern workwear. This full-zip garment is designed with a classic fit that offers a relaxed silhouette without appearing oversized. Its standout feature is the soft cotton-faced fabric, which provides a smooth, consistent surface that is particularly well-suited for detailed branding and corporate identity work.

Key Features
  • Twin needle stitching: This construction method provides reinforced seams, ensuring the garment can withstand the rigours of daily wear and repeated laundering without fraying.
  • Covered main zip: The zip is concealed by the self-fabric, which not only provides a cleaner, more professional aesthetic but also allows for uninterrupted printing across the chest area.
  • Double-fabric hood: A dual-layer hood adds structural substance and warmth, complemented by self-coloured drawcords for a cohesive, uniform appearance.
  • Ribbed cuffs and hem: These provide a secure fit that helps retain heat and ensures the garment maintains its shape throughout the working day.

Design & Performance

The performance of the Zoodie is rooted in its fabric composition, primarily a blend of 80% ringspun cotton and 20% polyester. This mixture balances the natural breathability and soft hand-feel of cotton with the durability and shape-retention of polyester. The interior features a brushed fleece lining, which provides excellent insulation and a soft touch against the skin, making it an ideal choice for cooler environments or layered outdoor use.

For businesses looking to rebrand or create their own clothing line, the inclusion of a simple tear-out label allows for easy rebranding, ensuring that your company identity remains the primary focus.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The JH050 is an exceptional candidate for both print and embroidery. The high cotton content in the face fabric ensures that screen prints and vinyl transfers adhere smoothly and remain vibrant. If you require a more traditional, high-end finish, the fabric is robust enough to support dense embroidery without puckering.

Our expert team in Telford, who have been perfecting garment customisation since 1976, handles all production in-house. We generally recommend embroidery for small chest logos or individual names to achieve a professional appearance, while large-scale back designs are often best suited to print techniques.

Use Cases

This hoodie is a versatile staple for various sectors. It is frequently selected for university and education staff, retail uniforms, and trade professionals who require a practical layer that does not compromise on appearance. Its unisex design and broad size range also make it a reliable choice for event staff and promotional teams during festivals or freshers' weeks.

Why MyWorkwear

With nearly half a century of experience, MyWorkwear understands that workwear needs to be more than just a uniform; it needs to be an asset. Based in Telford, we combine our extensive heritage with modern techniques to ensure every garment we produce meets our rigorous standards for quality and durability.

Practical Advice

This Zoodie features a generous size range from S to 5XL, catering to chest sizes up to 62 inches. To ensure the best fit, we recommend measuring a garment you already own and comparing it against our size guide. If you intend to wear this over several layers of work clothing, you may wish to consider a size up for maximum comfort.

Caring for your product

Maintaining the appearance and performance of your hoodie requires following a few straightforward care steps. We recommend a machine wash at 30°C. This lower temperature helps to preserve the fibres and prevents the custom branding from degrading prematurely.

Avoid the use of bleach, as harsh chemicals will break down the fabric's structure and strip away the colour. When drying, use a low heat setting in the tumble dryer to prevent any potential shrinkage, though air drying is always preferable for long-term garment health.

If ironing is necessary, use a low heat setting and ensure you do not iron directly over any printed areas, as this will cause the design to lift or distort. Do not dry clean, as the solvents used can be detrimental to both the fabric blend and the customisations.
