Product Overview
The Flexfit cotton twill dad cap represents a refined approach to classic headwear, combining a simple, sporty silhouette with the durability required for daily professional use. Constructed from a robust twill fabric, this cap is designed to maintain its character and form through consistent wear. Central to its design is the patented Flexfit technology, which ensures a secure and comfortable fit without the need for traditional plastic adjusters, making it a reliable choice for a clean, streamlined appearance.
Key Features
- Robust cotton twill construction provides a sturdy and durable surface that withstands the rigours of a busy working environment.
- Integrated patented Flexfit technology allows the cap to stretch and conform to the head, providing a bespoke feel for the wearer.
- Simple and sporty aesthetic ensures the cap is versatile enough to suit various industry sectors and uniform requirements.
- The unisex design and range of sizes ensure a consistent professional look across your entire team.
Design & Performance
The fabric composition of 98% cotton and 2% elastane has been carefully chosen to balance comfort with structural integrity. The cotton provides a soft, breathable base suitable for all-day wear, particularly in active roles, while the elastane provides the necessary resilience and stretch that defines the Flexfit range. This ensures the cap recovers its shape even after prolonged use.
The twill weave is inherently hard-wearing, offering a textured finish that is both practical and professional. This medium-weight fabric is substantial enough to feel high-quality while remaining light enough to prevent overheating during manual tasks.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The YP055 is a superior canvas for customisation, supporting both print and embroidery. For a truly professional and long-lasting finish, we recommend embroidery. This method adds a tactile, premium element to your company logo or staff names, which is particularly effective when applied to this robust twill fabric.
Alternatively, printing is a suitable option for larger, bold designs where high visual impact is required. All customisation is carried out by our expert in-house team in Telford. With our heritage dating back to 1976, we have the technical knowledge to ensure your branding is applied with the highest level of precision.
Use Cases
This cap is ideally suited for outdoor staff, logistics teams, and trade professionals who require headwear that is functional yet smart. Its understated design makes it a perfect accompaniment to a wider range of uniform items, such as embroidered polo shirts or technical jackets, helping to create a cohesive brand image.

Practical Advice
To ensure the most comfortable fit, we provide two size ranges: S/M for head circumferences of approximately 55-58cm, and L/XL for 58-61cm. We suggest measuring around the widest part of the head for accuracy. Because this cap relies on elastane for its fit, selecting the size closest to your measurement will ensure the cap stays in place without being overly restrictive.
Caring for your product
To preserve the structural integrity and the patented stretch technology of your cap, specific care is essential. We recommend that you do not wash this item. Submerging the cap in water or subjecting it to the mechanical action of a washing machine can cause the internal stiffening and elastane fibres to degrade, leading to a permanent loss of shape.
Chlorine bleach must be strictly avoided as it will weaken the cotton fibres and lead to significant discolouration. Similarly, do not tumble dry or iron the cap, as excessive heat will cause the fabric to shrink and will ruin the Flexfit elastic components. For the same reason, professional dry cleaning is not recommended, as the chemicals used can be too aggressive for the twill weave.
