To maintain the structural integrity and the vibrancy of the checkerboard print, this cap must not be washed. Submerging the garment or using a domestic washing machine will cause the internal stiffening of the crown to fail and may distort the shape of the peak.
Do not use chlorine bleach or any harsh chemical cleaners, as these will degrade the polyester mesh and cause the colours to bleed. Similarly, the cap should not be tumble dried, as high heat will shrink the cotton-blend front and damage the synthetic mesh.
