Product Overview
The Finden & Hales Knitted Shorts are a well-engineered garment designed for those who require both comfort and functionality during high-intensity activity. These shorts offer a professional aesthetic through contrast side panels, ensuring your team stands out while maintaining a unified appearance. Built from a robust interlock fabric, they are designed to withstand the rigours of both sporting environments and demanding work shifts where freedom of movement is essential.
Key Features
- The elasticated waist with an inner drawcord provides a customisable and secure fit, ensuring the garment remains in place during physical movement.
- Zipped side seam pockets offer a secure location for essential items such as keys or mobile phones, preventing accidental loss in active environments.
- A twin-needle stitched hem increases the structural integrity of the garment, preventing fraying and extending its service life under regular use.
- The tear-out label allows for easy rebranding, making these shorts an excellent choice for companies wishing to establish their own private label.
Design & Performance
Constructed from 100% polyester interlock, these shorts provide a substantial feel without compromising on breathability. The interlock knit is specifically chosen for its smooth surface and stability, making it far more resilient and less prone to snagging than traditional jersey fabrics. This medium-weight material ensures the shorts drape professionally and provide sufficient coverage, while the contrast panels add a modern, athletic silhouette suitable for a variety of team settings.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
These shorts are highly versatile for branding, being suitable for both print and embroidery. Embroidery is particularly effective for club crests or company logos, offering a durable and premium finish that maintains its appearance wash after wash. For larger, more vibrant designs or promotional messaging, our high-quality printing process ensures your branding remains sharp and legible.
Our in-house production team in Telford has been refining these customisation techniques since 1976. Every order is handled with the expertise required to ensure your brand is represented with precision and durability.
Use Cases
While ideally suited for sports and leisure teams, these shorts are a practical choice for fitness professionals, outdoor activity instructors, or staff working in high-temperature environments. The secure zipped pockets make them particularly useful for warehouse staff or delivery personnel who need to keep small tools or devices safe while on the move.

Practical Advice
Available in a broad size range from XS to 3XL, these shorts are designed to accommodate various body types comfortably. We recommend checking our size guide to ensure a correct fit; the combination of an elasticated waist and drawcord allows for minor adjustments to suit individual preference, particularly when carrying items in the pockets.
Caring for your product
Maintaining the technical properties of your shorts is essential for ensuring their longevity. We recommend a synthetic wash at 40°C. This temperature is sufficient to remove dirt and perspiration without compromising the integrity of the polyester fibres or your custom branding.
It is important to avoid the use of fabric softeners, as these can coat the fibres and interfere with the fabric's performance. Similarly, do not use bleach or dry clean the garment, as these processes can cause irreversible damage to the material and any applied logos.
To preserve the shape and finish, do not tumble dry. Instead, allow the shorts to air dry naturally. If ironing is required, use a cool setting on the reverse side to protect the fabric and any printed or embroidered elements from heat damage.
