Product Overview
The Craghoppers Morley Fleece Workwear Jacket is an exceptionally robust insulator designed for those who require significant warmth without sacrificing professional aesthetics. Constructed from a substantial recycled borg fleece, this jacket serves as a primary defence against the cold on exposed sites. It is not merely a standard fleece; it is a technical garment engineered for durability, featuring reinforced softshell panels in areas prone to high wear. For those seeking a heavy-duty, environmentally conscious layering solution, the Morley offers a sophisticated blend of performance and responsibility.
Key Features
Recycled Borg Fleece: Provides high-level thermal insulation by trapping air within its deep pile, ensuring you stay warm in plummeting temperatures.
H2OShield DWR Finish: The upper body and lower back sleeve panels are treated with a durable water-repellent finish, helping to keep you dry during light showers.
Reinforced Softshell Panels: Strategically placed on the shoulders and elbows to provide essential abrasion resistance when carrying equipment or working in tight spaces.
Zipped Security Pocket: Offers a safe and accessible location for valuables, ensuring your essentials remain secure while you move.
Sustainable Construction: Utilises GRS certified recycled fabrics and recycled zip tapes, allowing your business to meet environmental targets without compromising on quality.
Design & Performance
The Morley jacket is built for the rigours of daily trade work. The main body is crafted from 100% recycled polyester borg fleece, which offers a soft yet incredibly durable texture. To counteract the usual wear points of a fleece, Craghoppers has integrated panels made from a polyester and elastane blend. This addition provides a necessary degree of stretch for better movement and ensures the jacket maintains its shape over time.
The inclusion of the H2OShield DWR finish on the upper sections is a practical addition for the British climate, providing a barrier against moisture where it is most likely to settle. This jacket is REACH compliant and manufactured in ETI-certified factories, reflecting a commitment to both chemical safety and ethical labour standards.
Customisation: Embroidery Only
Due to the deep, textured nature of the borg fleece, this garment is strictly for embroidery only. The thick pile of the fabric makes it impossible for heat-applied prints to bond correctly, whereas embroidery provides a premium, permanent finish that sits proudly on the material. Our Telford-based embroidery team, who have been perfecting their craft since 1976, will ensure your logo is rendered with precision, maintaining the professional image of your workforce through every stitch.
Use Cases
This jacket is ideally suited for professionals working in cold storage, outdoor construction management, or site surveying. Its substantial warmth makes it an excellent choice for those who are frequently outdoors but require a smarter, more structured appearance than a standard high-visibility jacket. It is equally effective for trade professionals who want a durable, branded layer for client-facing meetings in cooler environments.

Practical Advice
The Morley features a relaxed design, which is intentional to allow for layering over base layers or polo shirts. We recommend checking the sizing guide carefully, as the chest measurements range from 38 inches to 52 inches. If you are between sizes, consider the bulk of your under-layers when making your selection. The tear-out tag is a thoughtful touch for those who find standard labels irritating during long shifts.
Caring for your product
To maintain the performance and longevity of your Morley fleece, we recommend a machine wash at 30°C. Using a lower temperature helps preserve the integrity of the recycled polyester fibres and prevents premature wear of the borg pile.
It is vital that you do not use bleach or water softeners. Bleach will degrade the fabric and cause significant discolouration, while water softeners can interfere with the H2OShield DWR finish, reducing its ability to repel water. Similarly, avoid fabric conditioners as they can coat the fibres and reduce the fleece's natural breathability.
Finally, do not tumble dry this garment. High heat from a dryer can cause the recycled materials to shrink or lose their shape. Instead, allow the jacket to air dry naturally to ensure it remains a reliable part of your workwear wardrobe for years to come.
