Product Overview

The Women's oversized boyfriend tee from Build Your Brand is a modern essential, designed to provide a relaxed silhouette without compromising on professional standards. Constructed from pure cotton, this garment offers a substantial feel that is rare in standard leisurewear, making it an excellent choice for businesses looking to create a high-quality, contemporary impression. The oversized aesthetic, characterised by its wide sleeves and loose cut, ensures maximum comfort whether worn as a standalone piece during the summer months or as a reliable base layer when temperatures drop.

Key Features
  • Pure Cotton Single Jersey: The use of 100% cotton provides a soft, breathable finish that remains comfortable throughout the working day.
  • Oversized Boyfriend Cut: A hip, loose fit that follows modern fashion trends while allowing for unrestricted movement.
  • Inclusive Sizing: Available from XS up to 5XL, ensuring your entire team can be outfitted in matching, professional attire regardless of size.
  • Tagless Design: The absence of a traditional neck label prevents irritation and simplifies the process for those looking to rebrand the garment.
  • Wide Sleeves: These contribute to the relaxed aesthetic and provide additional ventilation during active use.

Design & Performance

This t-shirt is engineered using a substantial single jersey material, which provides a sturdy and smooth surface. Unlike thinner alternatives, this fabric has the weight required to hold its shape over time, resisting the sagging often associated with lighter cotton garments. The loose cut is not merely a stylistic choice; it promotes airflow, making it a practical option for physically demanding environments or hot weather.

The construction prioritises durability, with the single jersey knit offering a balance between flexibility and resilience. This ensures that the garment can withstand the rigours of frequent wear and industrial customisation processes while maintaining its soft-to-the-touch feel.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The Build Your Brand Women's oversized boyfriend tee is a superior canvas for branding. The smooth, flat surface of the single jersey material is particularly well-suited for printing, allowing for crisp, large-scale designs and vibrant colour reproduction. This is ideal for promotional events or bold company logos that need to stand out.

For a more formal and permanent finish, embroidery is highly recommended. The weight of the fabric provides a stable foundation for intricate needlework, preventing the puckering that can occur on lighter shirts. Our in-house team in Telford, with expertise dating back to 1976, ensures that every logo or name is applied with precision, resulting in a professional appearance that lasts the life of the garment.

Use Cases

Given its modern, relaxed fit, this t-shirt is perfectly suited for creative agencies, retail environments, and the fashion industry. It is also a popular choice for educational settings, such as university societies or freshers' events, where a contemporary look is preferred. Additionally, its comfort makes it an ideal option for staff uniforms in wellness and lounge environments.

Practical Advice

When selecting your size, please note that this is an oversized garment by design. If you prefer a more traditional, closer fit, you may wish to consider choosing one size smaller than your usual measurement. The generous sleeve width makes it an excellent piece for layering over long-sleeved tops during transitional seasons.

Caring for your product

To maintain the integrity of the cotton fibres and ensure your custom branding remains in peak condition, we recommend a machine wash at 30°C. Washing at higher temperatures can lead to fabric shrinkage and may cause printed designs to degrade prematurely.

Bleaching should be avoided at all costs, as the harsh chemicals will weaken the fabric and strip the colour from both the garment and any embroidery. For the best results, do not tumble dry this t-shirt; allowing it to air dry naturally prevents the garment from losing its shape and protects the customisation from heat damage.

When ironing, use a low heat setting and avoid direct contact with any printed areas to prevent melting or smearing the design. Finally, this garment is not suitable for dry cleaning, as the industrial solvents used can damage the bond between the fabric and the branding.
