Product Overview

The Build Your Brand Women's Extended Shoulder Tee is a modern evolution of the classic t-shirt, designed specifically for those who require a contemporary silhouette without sacrificing comfort. This garment stands out due to its extended shoulder line and turn-up sleeves, which offer a sporty, effortless aesthetic suitable for both professional and casual environments. Engineered with a longer cut and a relaxed fit, it provides a versatile base for various styling options, whether paired with trousers for a feminine uniform or jeans for a more relaxed appearance.

Key Features
  • Extended Shoulders and Turn-up Sleeves: These design elements provide a distinct, modern profile that differentiates this garment from standard t-shirts, offering a sophisticated look for your team.
  • Single Jersey Knit: The fabric construction ensures a smooth, consistent surface, which is essential for achieving high-quality results during the customisation process.
  • Extended Size Range: Available from XS to 5XL, this t-shirt ensures that all members of your workforce can be accommodated with a consistent brand image.
  • Tear-out Tag: This feature allows for easy rebranding, making it an excellent choice for businesses looking to add their own internal neck labels.
  • FAMA Certified Production: Manufactured in a facility that meets high-standard production certificates, ensuring ethical and quality manufacturing practices.

Design & Performance

Constructed primarily from 100% cotton in a single Jersey knit, this t-shirt is prioritised for its breathability and soft hand-feel. The lightweight fabric makes it an ideal choice for indoor work environments or as a base layer during colder months. For specific colourways, such as Heather Grey and Charcoal, a cotton blend is utilised to provide the necessary heathered texture while maintaining the garment's structural integrity and softness.

The round neckline and matching stitching demonstrate a meticulous attention to detail, ensuring the garment retains its shape over time. The longer cut is particularly beneficial for active roles, providing reliable coverage throughout the working day. Its performance is rooted in simplicity, focusing on a comfortable fit that does not impede movement.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This garment has been specifically designed with decoration in mind. The smooth surface of the single Jersey fabric is particularly well-suited for printing, allowing for sharp, vibrant designs that can span large areas of the chest or back. This is ideal for promotional events or bold company branding.

For a more traditional and prestigious finish, embroidery is a superb option. Our Telford-based team, operating since 1976, can apply high-quality embroidered logos or staff names to the chest, providing a permanent and professional appearance. The lightweight nature of the fabric means we recommend smaller, less dense embroidery designs to ensure the garment sits correctly on the wearer.

Use Cases

This t-shirt is a versatile choice for a variety of sectors. It is particularly effective for retail staff who require a modern, fashion-forward uniform that remains comfortable during long shifts. It is also an excellent option for promotional staff at trade shows or events where a contemporary look is required to represent a brand. Due to its stylish cut, it works equally well for hospitality businesses looking for a relaxed yet cohesive team appearance.

Practical Advice

Given the contemporary, extended shoulder design, we recommend reviewing the size guide carefully, as the fit is naturally more relaxed than a traditional fitted t-shirt. For those looking to create a multi-layered uniform, this lightweight garment layers exceptionally well under zip-up hoodies or softshell jackets without adding unnecessary bulk.

Caring for your product

To maintain the integrity of the lightweight cotton fabric and any custom branding, we recommend a mild machine wash at 30°C. Using higher temperatures can lead to premature fading of the fabric and may affect the adhesion of printed designs.

Bleaching should be avoided entirely, as the harsh chemicals will degrade the cotton fibres and cause significant discolouration. Similarly, do not tumble dry this garment; allowing it to air dry naturally prevents shrinkage and ensures the shirt maintains its original shape and length.

When ironing, use a low temperature setting and avoid ironing directly over any printed or embroidered areas to prevent damage to the customisation. Finally, do not dry clean this item, as the process is unnecessary for cotton Jersey and can be overly aggressive on the fabric's structure.
