Product Overview

The Build Your Brand Womens Sorona Long Extended Shoulder Dress represents a sophisticated intersection of contemporary fashion and functional performance. Designed with a loose, straight fit that ends elegantly below the calf, this garment provides a modern silhouette suitable for a variety of professional settings. The extended shoulder area and dropped shoulders contribute to a relaxed yet refined appearance, making it a versatile addition to any staff wardrobe.

Key Features
  • Loose straight fit: Offers unrestricted movement and a silhouette that flatters various body types, ensuring all-day comfort.
  • Sorona fibre technology: Enhances the fabric with exceptional resilience to heat and UV radiation, ensuring the dress maintains its shape and colour over time.
  • Long side slits: These functional details provide increased mobility, which is essential for active work environments or navigating busy retail spaces.
  • Folded sleeve hem and high ribbed crew neck: These technical finishing details provide structural integrity and a crisp, professional aesthetic.

Design & Performance

This dress is crafted from a medium-weight blend of 70% cotton and 30% Sorona polyester. The inclusion of Sorona is a specific technical choice; it is a polymer that offers superior softness and significant stretch. This results in a garment that is not only comfortable for extended wear but also highly durable. The fabric’s inherent resistance to heat and UV radiation means it is particularly well-suited for environments where temperature fluctuations or sunlight exposure are common, preventing the material from degrading or fading prematurely.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

At MyWorkwear, we understand that branding is paramount for professional identity. This medium-weight dress is highly compatible with both embroidery and print processes. Embroidery is particularly effective on this fabric, providing a textured, high-quality finish for corporate logos or staff names that require a traditional professional appearance. For businesses seeking a more prominent visual impact, our printing techniques allow for large, vibrant designs that remain sharp on the smooth surface. Our in-house team in Telford, established in 1976, manages every aspect of the customisation process to ensure your branding meets our rigorous standards.

Use Cases

The BY415 is an excellent choice for front-of-house hospitality roles, premium retail environments, or corporate events where a modern, stylish look is required. Its extensive size range, from XS to 5XL, ensures that entire teams can be outfitted in a cohesive and inclusive uniform that reflects a forward-thinking brand image.

Practical Advice

Due to the loose, straight fit, this dress is ideal for layering during transitional seasons. We recommend reviewing the specific size guide for the Build Your Brand range, as the fit is designed to be generous. If a more fitted appearance is required for your specific brand image, you may wish to consider one size smaller than your standard measurement.

Caring for your product

To maintain the technical properties of the Sorona fibres and ensure the longevity of your custom branding, we recommend a domestic wash at 30°C on an easy-care cycle. Using higher temperatures can compromise the elasticity of the Sorona blend and may lead to the degradation of printed or embroidered elements.

We advise against the use of industrial bleaching agents, as these will weaken the cotton fibres and cause significant fading. Proper care ensures the garment retains its professional appearance and resilience against heat and UV exposure throughout its life cycle.
