Product Overview

The Build Your Brand Loose-fit hoodie represents a contemporary shift in professional workwear, moving away from restrictive cuts towards a more relaxed, modern silhouette. This garment is engineered for comfort without sacrificing a polished appearance, featuring dropped shoulders that enhance freedom of movement for the wearer. Whether used as a base for a brand refresh or as a substantial outer layer for cooler environments, its minimalist design serves as a blank canvas for high-quality customisation.

Key Features

  • Loose fit with dropped shoulders: Provides a modern aesthetic and ensures the wearer is not restricted during physical activity or long shifts.

  • Customisable kangaroo pocket: Offers a practical solution for storing essential items or keeping hands warm, designed to stay flat and professional.

  • Ribbed cuffs and hem: These components ensure the hoodie maintains its structure and fit over time, preventing the sagging often found in inferior garments.

  • Half-moon neck insert: A thoughtful design detail that facilitates easy neck-label rebranding, ideal for businesses looking to create a bespoke internal brand.

  • Tear-out tag: Allows for seamless rebranding and prevents skin irritation, focusing on the comfort of the professional user.

Design & Performance

Constructed from a substantial blend of 65% cotton and 35% polyester, this heavyweight hoodie is designed for longevity and consistent performance. The high cotton content provides a soft, breathable feel against the skin, while the polyester integration adds necessary durability and resistance to shrinking. As part of our Heavyweight Collection, this garment offers significant thermal protection, making it a reliable choice for outdoor tasks or drafty warehouse environments. Furthermore, the Amfori BSCI accreditation ensures that this product is sourced with ethical social responsibility in mind.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This hoodie is specifically designed to accommodate both print and embroidery, offering versatile options for your business branding. Embroidery is the preferred choice for a sophisticated, professional appearance; it is ideal for company logos or staff names on the chest, providing a textured, long-lasting mark of quality. For larger, more graphic designs—perhaps across the back or the kangaroo pocket—our precision printing techniques deliver bold, vibrant results that command attention.

Our dedicated in-house team in Telford has been perfecting these customisation techniques since 1976. We handle every stage of the process to ensure your branding is applied with technical precision, reflecting the high standards of your own business.

Use Cases

The relaxed nature of this hoodie makes it particularly suitable for creative studios, tech startups, and the modern hospitality sector where a formal uniform might feel outdated. It is equally effective for tradespeople who require a heavy, comfortable layer that can withstand the rigours of on-site work while maintaining a clean, professional profile.

Why MyWorkwear

MyWorkwear has been a cornerstone of the UK workwear industry since 1976. Operating from our base in Telford, we combine decades of technical expertise with the latest customisation technology. We understand that your workwear is more than just clothing; it is a representation of your brand's authority and professionalism.

Practical Advice

Given the loose-fit nature of this design, we recommend reviewing the size guide carefully, as the chest measurements are generous. If you prefer a more traditional, snug fit, you may wish to size down. This hoodie is an excellent layering piece; its substantial weight allows it to be worn comfortably over a t-shirt or under a waterproof shell during inclement weather.

Caring for your product

To maintain the structural integrity and appearance of this heavyweight hoodie, we recommend following the 30°C easy-care wash instructions. Washing at this lower temperature prevents the natural cotton fibres from shrinking and helps to preserve the vibrancy of any custom print or embroidery.

Avoid using harsh bleaching agents, as these will degrade the fabric blend and cause premature fading of your company branding. Drying the garment naturally where possible will extend its lifespan and ensure the ribbed cuffs and hem retain their elasticity for years to come.
