Product Overview

The Build Your Brand Girls cropped sweat hoodie is a modern interpretation of a classic casual staple, specifically engineered for a contemporary silhouette. By combining the traditional comfort of a fleece hoodie with a stylish short cut, this garment serves as an excellent canvas for organisations looking to provide a fashionable yet practical uniform for younger members. Manufactured in a FAMA-certified factory, it adheres to high production standards, ensuring ethical garment construction alongside its aesthetic appeal.

Key Features
  • The trendy short cut offers a modern aesthetic that appeals to younger age groups while maintaining freedom of movement during activity.
  • A hood crafted from the outer fabric provides warmth and structure without the need for drawstrings, enhancing safety and providing a clean, uncluttered appearance.
  • Wide ribbed cuffs on the sleeves and a ribbed hem ensure the garment retains its shape over time and provides a secure, comfortable fit.
  • The half-moon neck design facilitates easy customisation and provides a professional interior finish.

Design & Performance

Constructed from a reliable blend of 65% cotton and 35% polyester, this medium-weight hoodie is designed to withstand the rigours of daily wear. The interior features a brushed fleece finish, providing a soft-touch texture against the skin and excellent thermal properties for cooler environments. This specific fabric composition ensures the hoodie is both breathable and durable, holding its form through multiple wash cycles without compromising on comfort.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This garment is exceptionally well-suited for both print and embroidery, allowing for versatile branding options. Given the smooth surface of the cotton-rich blend, screen printing or heat transfer is ideal for large, bold designs across the back or chest, making it perfect for team names or club logos. For a more sophisticated and enduring finish, our expert embroidery service can apply detailed logos or individual names with precision. Our Telford-based team, operating since 1976, handles all customisation in-house to ensure every piece meets our rigorous quality standards.

Use Cases

The stylish cropped fit makes this hoodie a popular choice for dance academies, gymnastics clubs, and youth theatre groups. It also serves as an excellent option for school leavers' hoodies or casual team uniforms for organisations targeting a younger demographic. Its professional construction ensures it looks professional during rehearsals, events, or as part of a coordinated casual uniform.

Practical Advice

When selecting sizes, please refer to our chest measurements which range from 29 inches for ages 4-6 up to 38 inches for ages 13-14. As this is a cropped style, it is designed to sit higher on the waist than a standard hoodie; for those preferring a more relaxed fit or planning to layer over thicker base layers, we recommend reviewing the sizing guide carefully.

Caring for your product

To maintain the structural integrity and colour of the hoodie, we recommend a gentle machine wash at 30°C. Washing the garment inside out with similar colours prevents the outer fabric from pilling and protects any custom branding from abrasive contact during the wash cycle.

Avoid the use of bleach, as harsh chemicals will break down the fabric fibres and lead to premature wear or discolouration. Similarly, the garment should not be tumble dried; air drying is essential to prevent shrinkage and to preserve the elasticity of the ribbed cuffs and hem.

When ironing, use a low temperature and ensure the garment is inside out. Applying direct heat to the exterior, especially over printed areas, can damage the customisation and the fleece finish. Finally, this item is not suitable for dry cleaning, as the solvents used can be too aggressive for the cotton-polyester blend.
