Product Overview

The Build Your Brand Basic Pullover Jacket is a masterclass in functional simplicity, designed specifically for those transitional periods when the weather cannot quite make up its mind. This lightweight garment provides a streamlined silhouette without the bulk of a traditional coat, making it an excellent choice for layering or as a standalone windbreaker. Manufactured in a FAMA (Facility and Merchandise Authorisation) certified factory, this jacket adheres to high standards of production quality and ethical workplace practices, ensuring you receive a garment that is as responsible as it is reliable.

Key Features
  • Integrated hood with an inside collar: This design provides a double layer of protection around the neck, shielding you from sudden drafts and ensuring comfort even when the wind picks up.
  • Elasticated waist and adjustable drawstring: These features allow the wearer to customise the fit and seal out the elements, preventing wind from entering at the hem.
  • Functional pocket configuration: The jacket includes both side pockets and a dedicated chest pocket, providing secure storage for essential tools or mobile devices while on the move.
  • Elasticated sleeve openings: The elastic bands at the cuffs ensure the sleeves stay in place and prevent heat loss, which is crucial during active work sessions.

Design & Performance

Constructed from a lightweight polyester outer fabric, this jacket is engineered to be resilient while remaining exceptionally easy to wear. The interior is intelligently zoned with two types of lining: a breathable mesh lining for the main body to manage moisture and a smooth taffeta lining for the sleeves to allow for effortless movement and easy removal over other garments. The inclusion of a front zipper makes the pullover style more accessible, allowing for quick ventilation should the temperature rise during physical activity.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This jacket is particularly well-suited for a variety of branding techniques. Its smooth polyester surface provides an ideal canvas for large-scale print work, such as bold company logos or promotional slogans. For a more understated and traditional finish, our Telford-based team can apply high-quality embroidery for names or smaller crests. Since 1976, we have been perfecting our techniques to ensure your branding withstands the rigours of daily wear, and we handle the entire process in-house to maintain our stringent quality controls.

Use Cases

Given its lightweight and packable nature, this jacket is ideal for staff working in fast-moving environments where agility is key. It is a popular choice for delivery drivers, event staff, or as a uniform component for outdoor street-style brands. Its extensive size range, extending up to 5XL, ensures that your entire team can be outfitted in a cohesive and professional manner.

Why MyWorkwear

Choosing MyWorkwear means partnering with a British company with nearly half a century of expertise. Based in Telford, we manage the entire customisation process in-house, ensuring that the standards we set in 1976 are maintained with every garment that leaves our facility. Our longevity in the industry is a testament to our commitment to quality and technical precision.

Practical Advice

This jacket features an overcut shoulder design, which allows for a generous range of movement and prevents the fabric from pulling when reaching or lifting. When selecting your size, consider what you intend to wear underneath; if you plan on layering over a heavy sweatshirt, the standard fit is accommodating, but it is always wise to consult the sizing guide for the most accurate fit across the broad S to 5XL range.

Caring for your product

To maintain the structural integrity and appearance of this jacket, it should always be washed and ironed inside out. This practice protects the outer surface and any custom branding from direct abrasion against the washing machine drum.

We recommend a gentle machine wash at 30°C with similar colours. Using higher temperatures can risk damaging the synthetic polyester fibres and may lead to premature fading of the fabric or the custom print. Bleaching agents must be avoided at all costs, as they will degrade the material and cause irreparable discolouration.

This garment should not be tumble dried. Air drying is essential to prevent heat-induced shrinkage and to maintain the performance of the elastic components in the waist and cuffs. When ironing, use a low-temperature setting to prevent the fabric from melting or becoming scorched, which is a common risk with lightweight synthetics.
