Product Overview

The Brook Taverner Tofino Royal Oxford Shirt is a sophisticated garment designed for the modern professional who requires a balance of elegance and daily functionality. As part of our business-casual collection, this shirt is engineered to provide a sharp, clean appearance that remains consistent from the first meeting of the morning to the final commute home. The tailored fit ensures a contemporary silhouette that complements the wearer without being restrictive, making it a reliable staple for any corporate wardrobe.

Key Features
  • Tailored fit: Provides a streamlined and professional silhouette that fits neatly under jackets or knitwear.
  • Classic collar: Offers a versatile and timeless look that accommodates various styles of neckwear or looks equally refined when worn open.
  • French placket: Delivers a clean, minimalist front by concealing the fabric edges, elevating the shirt's formal appeal.
  • Contrast detailing: Adds a subtle, professional touch of distinction that sets this garment apart from standard uniform options.
  • Long sleeves with single cuffs: Ensures a traditional finish that is practical for all-day wear in a variety of professional settings.

Design & Performance

The Tofino is crafted from a Royal Oxford weave, a fabric renowned for its durability and distinctive textured finish. The composition is a thoughtful blend of 60% cotton and 40% polyester. This combination allows for the natural breathability of cotton—keeping the wearer comfortable throughout the day—while the polyester component provides essential crease resistance and longevity. The medium-lightweight fabric is robust enough to withstand the rigours of frequent laundering while maintaining its shape and professional lustre.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This Royal Oxford shirt is an ideal candidate for customisation, allowing you to align your team's appearance with your corporate identity. For a truly professional and prestigious finish, we recommend embroidery. The textured weave of the Royal Oxford fabric supports high-density stitching beautifully, making it perfect for company logos or staff names on the chest or collar.

Alternatively, if your branding requires larger, more vibrant graphics, our high-quality printing services are also available. Every customisation project is handled by our expert in-house team in Telford, who have been perfecting their craft since 1976. We ensure that every stitch and every print meets our exacting standards before your garments are dispatched.

Use Cases

This shirt is perfectly suited for corporate office environments, hospitality management, and front-of-house roles. It is an excellent choice for businesses looking to implement a 'business casual' dress code that still demands a high level of professionalism. Whether for sales teams, estate agents, or administrative staff, the Tofino provides a uniform solution that is as practical as it is polished.

Practical Advice

The tailored fit is designed to be more form-fitting than a standard cut; if your role involves significant physical movement, you may wish to consider your sizing carefully to ensure maximum comfort. This shirt pairs exceptionally well with tailored trousers or chinos for a complete professional look.

Caring for your product

To maintain the superior finish and fit of your Brook Taverner shirt, we recommend a standard machine wash. Regular washing at recommended temperatures ensures the fabric remains fresh and free from oils that can break down fibres over time.

We advise against the use of harsh chemicals or bleach, as these can damage the delicate balance of the cotton-polyester blend and lead to premature wear. When drying, hanging the shirt immediately after the cycle will help the fabric’s natural crease-resistant properties take effect, making the ironing process much simpler and helping to preserve the integrity of any embroidered logos.
