Product Overview

The Brook Taverner Hestia Pilot Shirt is a masterclass in professional attire, specifically engineered for women who require an authoritative presence without sacrificing comfort. This semi-fitted blouse bridges the gap between traditional uniform standards and modern ergonomic design. As part of the Business Essentials collection, it serves as a foundational piece for transport, security, and aviation professionals who demand a garment that remains crisp throughout a demanding shift.

Key Features
  • Semi-Fitted Silhouette: Tailored to provide a refined, professional appearance that follows the natural line of the body without being restrictive during movement.
  • Traditional Epaulettes: These shoulder attachments provide the classic pilot aesthetic, essential for displaying rank or maintaining a high-authority uniform standard.
  • Dual Chest Pockets: Functional storage options that allow for the secure placement of credentials or small essential tools.
  • Integrated Pen Holder: A practical inclusion that ensures writing instruments are always within reach, preventing the need to search during critical administrative tasks.
  • Short Sleeve Design: Ideal for maintaining professional standards in warmer environments or for roles that require a high degree of arm mobility.

Design & Performance

Constructed from a deliberate blend of 65% recycled polyester and 35% cotton, the Hestia Pilot Shirt is designed for longevity and environmental responsibility. The use of recycled polyester increases the fabric's tensile strength and resistance to creasing, while the cotton content ensures the garment remains breathable against the skin.

The lightweight fabric choice is intentional; it allows for ease of movement and layering under jackets or high-visibility gear without causing overheating. This balance of materials ensures the shirt can withstand the rigours of daily wear and repeated industrial laundering while retaining its structural integrity and brilliant white finish.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

At MyWorkwear, we understand that a uniform is a reflection of your brand's standards. This blouse is perfectly suited for both print and embroidery customisation, handled by our expert team in Telford. Embroidery is particularly recommended for this garment; a precision-stitched logo or staff name above the chest pocket adds a layer of sophistication and permanent branding that will not fade.

For organisations requiring larger, high-visibility identification on the reverse, our printing services offer a sharp, clean finish. Whether you choose the tactile quality of embroidery or the bold clarity of print, our heritage since 1976 ensures your branding is applied with technical precision.

Use Cases

This garment is specifically designed for roles where authority and presentation are paramount. It is the preferred choice for commercial airline crews, private security details, and maritime personnel. Additionally, it serves as an excellent uniform for front-of-house staff in high-end transport hubs or corporate environments where a disciplined, uniformed look is required.

Why MyWorkwear

Choosing MyWorkwear means partnering with a company that has been at the forefront of the UK workwear industry since 1976. We don't just supply garments; we provide engineered uniform solutions backed by nearly half a century of experience.

Practical Advice

When selecting your size, consider that the semi-fitted nature of this blouse is designed to be smart but allow for a full range of motion. If you find yourself between sizes or prefer a more relaxed fit for active shifts, we recommend consulting our sizing guide. This shirt layers exceptionally well under a tailored blazer or a professional v-neck jumper during the colder months.

Caring for your product

To maintain the professional standard of the Hestia Pilot Shirt, it is fully machine washable. Regular washing is essential to prevent the build-up of oils and environmental pollutants, which can cause discolouration of the white fabric over time.

We recommend following the manufacturer's temperature guidelines to ensure the recycled polyester fibres remain resilient. Avoiding over-drying will help preserve the shirt's shape and reduce the time required for ironing, ensuring you spend less time at the ironing board and more time looking the part.
