MyWorkwear Join The Fight To Help Reopen Exotic Zoo
MyWorkwear have recently been supporting Telford Exotic Zoo, which has been closed for 18 months over the COVID pandemic.
Just prior to the first lockdown hitting, the zoo lost its home in Priorslee, Telford and has spent the last unprecedented year trying to re-open. After a change in luck, lots of support from volunteers, Telford and Wrekin Council and a little bit of help from MyWorkwear, the zoo reopened at Telford Town Park this weekend.
"I find it hard to put into words what the last 18 months have been like, from losing our home to facing the issues of a pandemic. It had been an enormous challenge but also heartwarming to see such support" commented Scott Adams. Owner of the Exotic Zoo. "We couldn’t have been more grateful to MyWorkwear when they came to our rescue with the fabulous new uniforms for our staff and 85 volunteers. With our opening only days away, we are now excited and dressed ready for the occasion"
Exotic Zoo is a family favourite and award-winning small zoo that has topped trip advisor for many years.
Commenting on the partnership, James Worthington, Managing Director of MyWorkwear said "We were aware of the sad closure of this much loved zoo during the pandemic, so when they approached us about new uniforms for their volunteers we were obviously more than happy to help. The team chose polos and T-shirts in a forest green to complement their brand colours and new logo. The new uniform will ensure the team will be easily identified by all visitors at their re-opening and beyond."
