How To Add A Logo To Your Workwear

Workwear Printing

Uniforms are often overlooked. Here at MyWorkwear, we understand how essential it is to represent your business in the right way and recognise the crucial role that each logo plays in trademarking all the hard work that you and your team do.

We offer customers a wide range of plain garments paired with a plethora of personalisation options, tailoring our workwear services to suit your company’s specific uniform needs.

Our team is committed to always keeping your branding in mind, providing support and guidance throughout the entire ordering process, whether your request is big or small, complicated or simple.

Consistency and brand

Consistency and brand awareness are key. Personalised workwear is significant in getting your company details, slogans, and messages across, but they don’t always need to be big and bold to make a statement (although, we can certainly do that too).

If any of these thoughts have ever crossed your mind:

How can I help my company stand out from the rest?

How can I embody my business in my everyday clothes?

How do I add a branded logo to my uniform?

You have come to the right place.

A Touch Of Personalisation

The extensive options for personalised branding that our customers can choose from can sometimes be an overwhelming prospect – and an even more daunting decision to make on behalf of your entire company.

That’s why our team of experts is here to help you!

Whether you’re interested in customising your uniform but don’t know where to start, or you simply want more information, here are our options explained.

So, this may have left you wondering which garments you can add personalisation onto.

The short answer is almost every clothing item you can imagine, but the long answer will be answered in this non-exhaustive list:

  • Polo shirts, T-shirts, formal shirts, vests

  • Zip-up hoodies, sweatshirts, jumpers

  • Puffer and waterproof jackets (printing is advised to keep them 100% waterproof)

  • Trousers, cargo shorts and chinos

  • Gilets and fleeces (reminder- we can only embroider on the fleece material)

  • All kinds of Hi-Visibility PPE

  • Bags, hats and water bottles

Our Ordering Process

After deciding on the type, size, and colour of your logo, and which garment you’d like it on, the next step is to get in touch with us!

You can contact us in various ways – it all depends on your personal ordering preferences and how much assistance you’d like from us.

Firstly, you can email us at sales@myworkwear.co.uk, where our sales team aims to reply to all customers within 4 hours. We will create your product designs manually, curate mock visuals for you if required, and then send over a quotation with a breakdown of our pricing.

Alternatively, you can call us directly on 01952 585881 if you prefer to discuss over the phone; this also gives you the opportunity to ask for recommendations from our team of experts and clarify any questions you may have.

However, if you’d like to take control of adding logos to your uniform, our easy customisation process on the website makes this possible. Simply add the correct garments to your basket, select the item to customise, upload your logo, and ensure its placed in the desired position.(And don’t forget to add your 15% first order discount!)

Once this has all been processed, your logo will remain on our system and can be used again for any future orders by simply logging back in.

So, now that the decisions and logistics are out of the way, your branded workwear is in our capable hands.

The Application – From Virtual to Reality

Once your logo has been finalised as a digital render, you will receive an email proof to approve before we begin customising your items.

After you approve your embroidery logo, the stock is ordered and booked into our Goods In department. Once it’s checked in, it enters a production queue, patiently waiting its turn to get in the loop

Your logo is then scanned into the sewing machine to verify the stitch count and determine the required thread colours. Our production team carefully selects the thread, installs it into the machine, and places the hoop around the garments for precise positioning and measuring.

The machine is centred to zero, traces the outline to ensure it fits the hoop accurately, and begins stitching your logo into multiple garments simultaneously, depending on the size of your order.

When you approve your print logo, it is added to our automated print queue to be printed using DTF – one of the most durable and long-lasting methods in the industry.

We use DuPont Artistri Digital Inks, which are certified OEKO | GOTS | HAPS, ensuring even the most vibrant prints are created with environmental sustainability in mind.

All prints are individually cut using our fully automated cutting system. Your logo is then applied using our state-of-the-art heat presses, which are also fully automatic and equipped with laser positioning for precise logo placement.

Your logo is now sealed directly onto the garment, with no sticker or background needed. The upper layer of film is cooled and carefully peeled off.

Whether you choose embroidery or print for personalisation, these processes are repeated until your order is ready to move into quality checking. Once it’s passed inspection, it is carefully packed and dispatched from us for next-day delivery to your front door.

Choosing to add a logo (or multiple) to your uniform not only adds a personal and professional touch, but it also allows you to represent your business at all times.

At MyWorkwear, we understand how crucial it is to get your branding right the first time.

We hope this has given you a better understanding of the effort we put into ensuring that your company uniform is customised exactly as you envisioned.
