Product Overview

The Bella Canvas Unisex Jersey crew neck t-shirt is a modern staple in professional workwear, designed to offer the comfort of a retail-quality garment with the durability required for daily business use. This t-shirt is crafted from superior Airlume combed and ringspun cotton, providing a smooth, high-quality surface that serves as a premium canvas for company branding. Unlike standard t-shirts, this model features a tailored fit that remains comfortable throughout the working day.

Key Features
  • Shoulder Taping: This reinforcement along the shoulder seams prevents the garment from stretching out of shape, ensuring the t-shirt maintains its structure even after frequent wear.
  • Side-Seamed Construction: Rather than a tubular design, side seams provide a more ergonomic and flattering fit that retains its silhouette through the laundry cycle.
  • Airlume Combed and Ringspun Cotton: The intensive combing process removes impurities and short fibres, resulting in a fabric that is exceptionally soft yet resilient.
  • Fitted Bicep and Slim Fit: Provides a modern, streamlined appearance that avoids the bulkiness of traditional work t-shirts.

Design & Performance

The performance of this t-shirt is rooted in its material composition. By using 100% Airlume combed and ringspun cotton, the fabric provides a significantly smoother handle than standard cotton. This is a lightweight fabric, making it an excellent choice for indoor environments or for layering beneath sweatshirts and jackets without causing overheating.

The garment is engineered for longevity. The inclusion of side seams is a mark of quality that prevents the 'twisting' often seen in cheaper, mass-produced garments. With a sizing range extending from XS to 4XL, it ensures a consistent professional appearance across an entire workforce, regardless of the team size.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This jersey t-shirt is particularly well-suited for both print and embroidery, though the choice depends on your specific branding requirements. For intricate company logos or staff names, embroidery offers a sophisticated and enduring professional appearance that stands up well to industrial laundering.

For larger promotional designs or bold back prints, the smooth surface of the Airlume cotton is ideal for various printing techniques. Our in-house team in Telford has been perfecting these processes since 1976, ensuring that your branding is applied with technical precision to ensure a sharp, long-lasting finish.

Use Cases

Due to its refined fit and high-quality finish, this t-shirt is highly versatile. It is an excellent choice for retail staff, event teams, and office-based personnel who require a smart-casual uniform. It also serves as a premium merchandise option for brands looking to provide high-value apparel to their customers.

Why MyWorkwear

MyWorkwear has been a fixture of the UK workwear industry since 1976. Operating from our facility in Telford, we combine decades of heritage with modern production techniques. We understand that your workwear is a reflection of your business standards, which is why we oversee every stage of the customisation process in-house.

Practical Advice

This t-shirt features a slim, unisex fit. If your team prefers a more relaxed or traditional 'boxy' fit, you may wish to consider sizing up, particularly for those at the upper end of the chest measurements. The tear-out tag is also a useful feature for those who find traditional neck labels irritating during physical activity.

Caring for your product

To maintain the structural integrity and the vibrancy of your customisation, we recommend a warm machine wash. Always wash the garment inside out to protect the embroidery or print from abrasion against other items in the load.

Use only non-chlorine bleach when required. Harsh chemicals like chlorine can break down the cotton fibres prematurely and cause colours to fade or bleed, compromising the professional look of your uniform.

For drying, use a low temperature setting in the tumble dryer. High heat can lead to shrinkage in cotton garments. When ironing, use a medium to hot setting but ensure you do not iron directly over any decoration. Direct heat can melt print transfers or distort embroidery threads, which could permanently damage your branding.
