Product Overview
The Beechfield Removable Patch Thinsulate Beanie represents a highly functional evolution in professional headwear. Engineered for those who require reliable warmth without sacrificing a sharp, professional appearance, this beanie features a sophisticated double-layer construction paired with a genuine Thinsulate lining. What distinguishes this model is the integrated Rip-Strip cotton twill patch, designed specifically to host your company branding. This modular approach allows for a level of versatility rarely seen in standard winter wear, blending urban utility with the practical demands of the British workforce.
Key Features
Removable Cotton Twill Patch: The dedicated decoration area provides a stable, flat surface that ensures your embroidered logo remains crisp and legible, unlike direct embroidery on ribbed knits which can often distort.
Interchangeable Rip-Strip System: The patch can be easily removed or swapped, making this beanie exceptionally versatile for businesses with rotating staff or varying site requirements.
Thinsulate Thermal Lining: Utilising a technical blend of polypropylene and polyester, the lining traps air molecules close to the head, providing superior insulation while remaining breathable.
Double-Layer Construction: This dual-layered approach creates an additional thermal barrier against the wind, ensuring the wearer remains comfortable during extended periods outdoors.
BC600 Compatibility: The beanie is fully compatible with BC600 replacement patches, allowing you to refresh the look of your headwear without replacing the entire garment.
Design & Performance
Performance is at the heart of the BC540. The outer shell is crafted from 100% soft-touch acrylic, which offers the warmth of wool without the associated itchiness or maintenance difficulties. The fabric is resilient, maintaining its shape and elasticity even after repeated wear in demanding environments. The interior Thinsulate lining is carefully integrated to ensure it does not compromise the fit, providing high-performance thermal retention in a medium-weight profile. The ribbed cuff provides a secure fit, ensuring the beanie stays in place regardless of the activity level.
Customisation: Embroidery Only
This product is offered exclusively with embroidery to ensure the highest quality finish. The cotton twill patch is the ideal canvas for high-density stitching, allowing our Telford-based embroidery team to replicate your logo with precision. Because the beanie is a knitted, layered item with a technical Thinsulate interior, embroidery is the only method that provides the necessary durability and premium aesthetic. Printed methods would likely fail to adhere to the fabric's texture or could compromise the thermal properties of the lining. Our in-house experts, who have been perfecting their craft since 1976, ensure every stitch is locked for longevity.
Use Cases
The BC540 is an excellent choice for a wide range of sectors. It is particularly well-suited for site managers, delivery drivers, and outdoor event staff who need to maintain a professional identity in cold conditions. Its urban utility styling also makes it a popular choice for modern office-based teams who require a practical yet stylish winter accessory for the daily commute or site visits.

Practical Advice
This beanie is supplied in a universal 'one size' fit, which, thanks to the inherent stretch of the soft-touch acrylic, comfortably accommodates most head shapes. If you are working in exceptionally harsh environments, the double-layer construction makes this an ideal top-layer that can be worn over a lightweight liner if necessary, though the Thinsulate lining is usually more than sufficient for standard UK winter conditions.
Caring for your product
To ensure your beanie and its custom embroidery remain in peak condition, we recommend a machine wash on a warm setting. This temperature is sufficient to remove dirt and oils without damaging the synthetic fibers of the Thinsulate lining or the acrylic outer. Using excessively hot water can lead to the fibers losing their elasticity, causing the hat to lose its shape.
When ironing, always use a low heat setting and avoid direct contact with the embroidered patch if possible. High heat can melt the acrylic fibers and may cause the embroidery threads to lose their lustre. We strongly advise against using bleach, as this will degrade the technical fibers of the Thinsulate and strip the colour from both the beanie and your embroidered logo.
