MyWorkwear AquAid Watercooler is up and running!
After the original announcement of our partnership with AquAid, who supply our head office with watercoolers, we shared that our purchase would equal in a donation to The Africa Trust.
To date AquAid have built more than 10,000 such Elephant Pumps across parts of Liberia, Malawi, Mozambique and Zimbabwe; and have donated in excess of £22 million to charity.
Here at MyWorkwear, it is important for us to partner with suppliers who hold similar values to ourselves and AquAid are just that.
Through purchasing their watercoolers we have not only been able to ensure our team and our guests are hydrated, but we have been able to fund the build of a water pump for those less fortunate than ourselves.
These funds have been utilised to build ‘Elephant Pumps’ – a modified version of an age-old Chinese rope pulley system. One such pump has been installed in an African village on our behalf and it will be a much-needed source of clean and fresh drinking water for many.
Our branding is proudly displayed on our new water pump and is hydrating many local people through a fresh, clean and easy to access water supply.
