Our Co-Managing Director, James Worthington, is taking on the Dragon Ultra Marathon
At MyWorkwear we have been supporting businesses across the UK with branded workwear since 1976, and during the years, we have helped support numerous local and national charities. One of the charities closest to our hearts is Race Against Dementia (RAD)– something our Co-Managing Director James, and the rest of the team are very passionate about following the sad passing of our founder Mike Worthington to Lewy Body Dementia in 2021.
On July 21st 2024, James Worthington will be taking on the challenge of the Dragon Coastal Ultra Marathon to support RAD once again. The 30-mile run will take him from Dunraven Bay to Cardiff Bay, pushing his physical limits and mental limits.
Speaking of the race, James said: “The Dragon Ultra Marathon is a huge challenge for me but one that I’m really excited to undertake. My hopes for doing this challenge are to raise funds and awareness for the amazing charity, RAD.”
This challenge is the next in a long list of charitable activites that James and the team have participated in, including the RADical Rogues Rally, Cannonbawz run, and Krazy Races.
