We’re expanding our sales and marketing function to drive growth
We welcome four new staff members to join our sales and marketing team as part of our expansion following the opening of our new production facility in April and our plans to achieve an annual turnover target of £5m in the next three years
The Sales Team
Lauren Chandler earned her promotion to a new Account Management position after showcasing her sales talent. With ten years of customer service and retail experience, Lauren joined MyWorkwear after her time in Australia. She started in Customer Services and earned a promotion to the new Account Management role earlier this month.
As a recent university graduate, Alex Simpson has joined the team as the Sales Administrator. This role marks Alex’s entry into the business world after receiving a First in History and Politics from Keele University. His enthusiasm to learn and assist MyWorkwear in achieving its growth ambitions is evident.
The Marketing Team
Graduating with first-class honours in Visual Communication from Birmingham City University Morgan Grice serves as the Social Media Executive. Morgan gained social media experience on personal and business accounts. She will collaborate with internal and external resources to develop MyWorkwear’s social media platforms for the future.
In the marketing department, we have Gayle Parker as MyWorkwear’s new Head of Marketing. With a wealth of marketing, experience acquired over 25 years. All from companies such as Saga, Orange Plc, Natwest, nPower, and Bank of America, Gayle’s knowledge will be invaluable in the workwear market.
She is “delighted to have joined such a customer-focused and forward-thinking company at this fast-moving time. And is “confident” with her experience and knowledge to make a positive contribution to MyWorkwear’s growth and success.” Gayle confirmed.
The new team joins MyWorkwear during an exciting period for the company. It has doubled its turnover and tripled its staff numbers in the last 24 months. Additionally, MyWorkwear has invested £150,000 in new machinery and technology.
James Worthington, Managing Director of MyWorkwear, expresses his satisfaction with the new team – “We are really pleased with the strength of the team we now have in place to implement our sales and marketing strategy. We have stretching growth targets in place. And we believe that the knowledge and experience of the management team mixed with the drive and ambition of more junior members will help us to achieve these.”
