Thank you to the Frontline Workers at Great Ormond Street Hospital

MyWorkwear have recently been supporting Great Ormond Street Hospital with their uniform, to show appreciation and say a massive thank you to their staff.

History of Great Ormond Street

After an unprecedented year, which has been challenging for so many people, frontline workers have faced even greater difficulties. Great Ormond Street has remained open to support their patients and their families throughout. Consequently, the staff have worked tirelessly to ensure that children continue to receive the treatment they require.

Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) stands as an international centre of excellence in child healthcare. Since its establishment in 1852, the hospital has wholeheartedly committed itself to the healthcare of children, as well as the ongoing search for new and improved methods of treating childhood illnesses.

A well-deserved thank you

James Worthington, our Managing Director said, ‘Great Ormond Street approached us to express their gratitude to their team for their dedicated work throughout the challenging past year. Naturally, we gladly agreed to assist them. We collaborated with one of our key suppliers, Portwest, to create customised fleeces for the team. GOSH selected a navy fleece to match their uniforms and incorporated the GOSH logo and staff members’ names. This makes it easy for colleagues, patients, and visitors to identify them.’

Joanna Hawes, of the Anaesthetic Team at GOSH continued with ‘This year has been hard for most people, and as frontline workers I wanted to treat my team to some warm fleeces. I approached MyWorkwear, hoping they would be able to support my campaign to say thank you. I was so pleased they were willing to help and the staff members are thrilled with the fleeces they have received.’
